In 2016 I shared a list of podcasts that I thought Signals’ readers might enjoy. I think it’s definitely time to update that list, and I’m excited to tell you about a new podcast that’s about to launch: Commercializing Living Therapies with CCRM.
Commercializing Living Therapies with CCRM will feature cell and gene therapy industry experts and influencers sharing insider insights, information and trend forecasts. Unlike some of CCRM’s other educational media that are developed for a variety of audiences – such as Signals and CCRM Goes Live – CCRM’s podcast is meant to educate, intrigue and inspire professionals working in industry. So, while anyone can listen, we are assuming that our audience works in the field of cell and gene therapies or has an interest in how it operates.
Our launch date, while imminent, hasn’t been set, but I can share that our first episode will feature Drs. Janet Rossant and Phil Vanek speaking broadly about the industry, the importance of building awareness of living therapies and the need to commercialize them. Episode two will feature Dr. Cynthia Lavoie and Geoff MacKay providing insight on investing in regenerative medicine companies and helping them through the infamous “valley of death,” something they both have decades of experience with. Future topics will include manufacturing and supply chain, synthetic biology, gene editing, and reimbursement, with more to come.
Once it’s live, you’ll be able to listen to and follow Commercializing Living Therapies with CCRM in your favourite streaming app: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Pocket Casts or RSS, and you’ll also be able to find episodes on CCRM’s website. You can also subscribe to CCRM’s newsletter to make sure you don’t miss the first episode.
