Paul Knoepfler, already well known for his prolific blogging at The Niche and for his role as a stem cell educator and tireless patient advocate – award winning no less – has taken on another project. Ask him a question about stem cells and you may get a live response.
On February 26th, Dr. Knoepfler, who is also a respected scientist and professor at the UC Davis School of Medicine (presumably in his spare time?), posted a video promising a new feature for his blog: a video Q&A where he will answer questions from the public.
We can expect no-nonsense, practical answers and advice, and lots on the topic of stem cell tourism (stay away!) and the need for balanced reporting of unapproved stem cell therapies. These videos will appear on Sundays, once or twice a month. I’m looking forward to them.
Here’s the first one.
Our regular feature, Right Turn, appears every Friday and we invite you to submit your own blog to info(at)ccrm.ca. We encourage you to be creative and use the right (!) side of your brain. We dare you to make us laugh! Right Turn features cartoons, photos, videos and other content to amuse, educate and encourage discussion.
As always, we welcome your feedback in the comment section.
